Gaetano Grizzanti is an Italian identity designer living and working in Milan.
He has studied graphic design, visual art and mathematics.
In 1986 he founded Univisual, an independent firm specializing in brand consulting and design for corporate identity systems. His work has been featured in publications and recognized by numerous design awards.
Teaching for various institutes and universities since 1988; he organizes conferences/ seminars for students and professionals on brand identity.
As a member, of AIAP (Italian design association visual communication) since 1992, he has served on the executive board.
As a legal consultant to Court of Milan in trademarks, he carries out consultancy and technical analysis for specialized law firms in the field of intellectual property.
As a member of the Italian Order of Journalists, he writes for communication magazines and business management journals.
His book, “Brand Identikit – Transforming a trademark into a brand”, 2011, is a best seller in Italy.
In 2013, he established “Campo Grafico” Association, named after historic magazine published for 1933-1939, to preserve its story and relevance to creative thinking and design.
This year marks the 90th anniversary of the birth of Campo Grafico journal, published from 1933 to 1933, Grizzanti has edited a special catalog on the history of Campo Grafico, in English and Italian.
Grizzanti will discuss Campo Grafico, which is well regarded and recognized globally for it’s design “distinctiveness and peculiarity”.
